is engineered.

Some brands purchase an overseas product, put their logo on it, and resell it. Cygolite is not one of them. We design, engineer, and assemble original bicycle lights in-house, refining every detail for cyclists who depend on visibility.

Built by engineers who ride.

Cygolite was founded along the foothills of Irvine, California, in 1991 by a group of engineers with a passion for cycling. Our debut product, an LED blinking taillight, was an early success and paved the way for our first bicycle headlight. As Cygolite became widely recognized in the industry, we built our reputation as an innovator and manufacturer of high-quality, high-value bicycle lighting systems.
